tips for making the best of your newborn session

WHAT TO EXPECT

There will be crying, peeing, pooping, eating. Don't worry - it's all normal. I will just be in awe of your precious new life. Babies like to be warm so the heat will be turned up. I have toys, snacks, water, boppy pillow, and changing table in the waiting area.

WHAT YOU NEED

Pacifier, burp cloths, diapers, wipes, any props or clothing you want incorporated.

Plan to end feeding right before the session starts so they are full & happy.

WHEN WE BEGIN

Please remove sunglasses, phones from pockets, hair bands and watches, wipe the kids faces clean, and double check everyone's hair and clothing.

(Lifestyle) Declutter any areas you want to use. Turn off lights and open windows.

STYLING TIPS

Studio: Any clothing colors will work with my white/light studio. I have a variety of colored wraps for baby.

Lifestyle: Choose colors that will look good with your nursery/home. You can never go wrong with neutrals. Baby can be in a simple onesie, knotted gown, or swaddle.

Usually a flowy top or dress for mom. Barefoot is cozy and appropriate for being home or on the bed.

Lay the outfits out and take a photo to visualize how everything will look together.
